Nausėda wants Lithuania to become Palantir's hub on NATO's eastern flank. At the same time, the German military is turning the company down
On 23 September 2026 it was reported that President Gitanas Nausėda met Palantir Technologies CEO Alex Karp in New York and said he sees potential for Lithuania to become the company's hub for the Baltic states and the whole of NATO's eastern flank. Nothing has been signed, no figures were given, and so far this is a conversation. What makes it worth reading is that the same company was excluded from Germany's military cloud project, and Germany's domestic intelligence service bought a French alternative instead.
